I've had my Firestorm FS22 now for a couple of weeks, and I'm still amazed at what a nice little pistol it is.
I have run approximately 750 rounds thru it and with any modern ammunition I've tried it has been 100% reliable. The first week I had it I shot up all of the "old" 22 ammo I had laying around, and a few rounds of the older stuff (10+years old) didn't have the necessary "umph", but everything modern has been perfect.
The little pistol fits perfectly in the hand, d/a trigger is very good, excellent,in s/a mode. Very accurate, windage adjustable. I can't understand why this pistol is almost never found in the gun shops, while it's big brother the Bersa Thunder 380 is everywhere? This size pistol is perfect for small/medium hands, or perhaps the little lady. It's a Walther pp/ppk size, but won't "bite" like the Walther is prone to do. I had to special order my FS22 but it was well worth it.
For anyone looking for a great little trail gun, or plinker please give this pistol a look.. You can read a test at www.GunBlast.com. (Go to "archived articles" -Nov 4, 2004) It's such a pleasure to have a little 22 that is not ammo sensitive, and is small enough to double as a concealed weapon if need be.
Everyone always knocks the 22cal round for self-defense, but in the absence of a larger caliber pistol I should think 11 stingers would be a pretty good deterrent..
It's not a target "Hamden" High Standard Trophy, but I've had both and the FS22 is much more fun, and infinitely more practical.
Thanks.

PX15,
I couldn't agree more... I have a pair of the FS22s, and they are great little pistols.

How accurate is it say at 15 yards? Sounds like I may have to add one to my collection. (translation for Norf "I want one" )

| I've got a predecessor to the Firestorm, the Bersa 644 in .22 caliber. At 15 yards it is deadly, a great little gun!
